Do I Really Need Mustache Wax?
When people first think about mustache wax they always think about the twirled ends with elaborate swirls. The truth is your mustache does not have to be that long before you may start benefiting from mustache wax. Pretty early on in the mustache growing process you may start seeing some of the hairs getting away from you.
The key ingredient in any really good mustache wax recipe is beeswax. Beeswax is the cleanest, most natural wax you could put anywhere on your face. It doesn’t clog your pores and it doesn’t damage your facial hair. In fact, many natural skin creams use beeswax as the base emulsifier.
Learning how to use mustache wax can be simple or can be an art in itself. The key thing to remember is that a little can go a long way. Depending on the size and thickness of your mustache the amount you use is up to you, but if this is your first time trying wax for your mustache just use about a fingernail amount.
Rub the mustache wax between your fingers to soften it up and make it applicable. Then work from the middle of your mustache out. To evenly spread the mustache wax you can use a mustache comb. Then play around with the ends of your mustache to create swirls, curls, or points.
Mustache wax reviews
Our winner for our mustache wax reviews is Fisticuffs Mustache Wax. It has a nice consistency, and is easily removed from the tin with a fingernail. It also has a very nice mild lemony smell with a hint of beeswax.
Runner up for mustache wax reviews is Stache Bomb Stache Wax. Once applied, this wax stays soft. It has a mildly oily feel, but it’s not unpleasant. It feels like my moustache is being conditioned from it.
Another great Mustache wax is Mountaineer Brand Natural Mustache Wax. It comes with a nice cedar scent, which we like, but some may not. The bonus was the coconut oil added along with the beeswax. Coconut oil is a great all-around healthy oil.
